Dr. Jesse Papenburg was interviewed by Shane Ganam on CHED 630 Radio Show on the importance of vaccine trials for children to help prevent further spread of COVID-19.

It’s about protecting kids from severe outcomes even though they are less common than in adults, protecting also their family members or people that are close to them in terms of direct spread. But then also the role that children, adolescents and the places where they meet them that are really important to their development in terms of schooling and other social activities that we need to keep open and we need to have them able to interact. It’s part of their healthy development. How do we do that and also protect the rest of the community as well? I think vaccination is the key for protecting our children and protecting those around them. Dr. Jesse Panpenburg
